5th Class
FAI Schools' 2024 Primary 5s
Girls from 5th class took part in the FAI Schools' 2024 Primary 5s competition in Stepaside FC. The girls played some great football and proudly represented our school!
Building Lighthouses!
5th Class combined their art skills and their knowledge of electrical circuits to create these stunning lighthouses with working lights!
Marathon4Kids
On the 24th of October, fifth and sixth class ran their final mile in the Marathon4Kids initiative. Over the course of the last 10 week the boys and girls in fifth and sixth class ran the equivalent of a Marathon by running each morning before school. The final mile was ran at Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club where we had the pleasure of meeting and chatting to Irish Olympian David Gillick!
Future Engineers
As part of Science week 2023, fifth class engaged in some STEM activities which included working as a group to plan and built a tower out of marshmallows and spaghetti! The children first drew sketches of their designs, discussed them with their group and then worked as a team to build their tower. Each tower had to stand alone for thirty seconds to pass the test!
